Thoughts vs Feelings

Thus far, GoatLyfe has emphasized the importance of positive thinking. Having positive thoughts will change the way you see the things, people, and circumstances around you. Your changed perceptions change the way you treat and react to the world, in turn changing the way it reacts to you. Positive thinking however is not a cure-all. You can think all the positive thoughts you want and still feel like shit. Eventually, your feelings will win over. 

It follows that positive thoughts work best when used as a supplement to positive feelings. How do we generate positive feelings? There are probably many convoluted nu-age jedi mind tricks you can use to feel good but here we’ll cover the two most powerful and impactful real-world techniques to maximize positive emotions.

TECHNIQUE ONE

The value of diet, exercise, and lifestyle is extremely under-appreciated. What you put in your body affects your mental state in more ways than you may realize. You will inevitably see results from taking action which will give you more positive feelings than you’ll know what to do with, but you must be persistent and never let down! Take the largest possible step towards action you can right this moment. It could be as simple as getting out of bed and going for a walk or cracking open that book that’s been gathering dust on your bedside table. You don’t even had to read it, just open it. It will get easier with time, just keep at it!
